How to do it in ClarityStudy
- Upload the material you want quizzed into ClarityStudy: a PDF, a slide deck, a scanned document, or a lecture recording.
- ClarityStudy reads through it and lists the topics inside, instead of treating the whole file as one lump.
- Choose one topic, a few, or all of them, and generate a quiz for just that slice.
- Answer the questions. Each one links back to the exact page or slide it came from, so you can check a question against the source rather than take it on faith.
- Get something wrong, and your next study session opens on that topic with Claire before you move on, instead of quietly letting it slide.
Where the questions actually come from
A quiz here is not pulled from a generic bank of exam-style questions. ClarityStudy generates it from the file you uploaded, which means the questions are about the lecture you actually sat through, not the subject in general. Because generation happens inside ClarityStudy once you add material, rather than in the browser on this page, there is nothing here to fill in or drop a file into. The way to try it is to open the app, add a document, and generate a quiz from one of the topics it finds.
What "adaptive" means in practice
Grading is where the loop starts here, not where it ends. The result feeds back into your plan: every concept you are quizzed on sits at Developing, Proficient or Mastered, and that status moves with each attempt, alongside whether you are on pace for your deadline. Miss a question and ClarityStudy does not just mark it wrong and move on. The next study session it builds opens with a conversation with Claire about that specific topic before returning to new material, rather than another round of the same quiz. Get a topic right instead, and the plan skips the recap and moves straight on to a reading, flashcards or a short video on whatever comes next, so you are not re-answering questions about things you already know.

Does it quiz the whole document at once?
No. ClarityStudy lists the topics inside whatever you uploaded and lets you generate a quiz for one topic, a few, or all of them, so a dense chapter does not turn into one unmanageable test.
